Thank you for asking, no the stone did not fall out it was given to me by a friend who got it on one of those t.v. jewelry shows. I had good intentions to have it set for a silver necklace I have but, never got around to it. I'm not sure of the size But based on comparison to my wedding set I would say it's about a carat & a half to two carats.
