It means get it now, I set a specific amount of credits and if you bid that amount u get the item ,and it ends the auction. when you set up an auction it is given as an option but it costs me credits to do it, i take it you meant cash, well, u can buy credits also, for not to much, Get back to me , thanks

how do you set the bid amount when you put something up for auction?

comparison to other items like what u are auctioning, and how much they went for, or just what u think u might want to get out of it, someone else may tell u something different. Also u can just do the thrill of the auction (for u and the bidders) and just start at zero. Good luck.
