This is a flowering cactus, plant out side makes a nice place in your garden, can with stand winters and will have yellow and red flowers. ez to care for dont need a lot of water. ez to grow just rake up the dirt were you wont it and lay it down in the dirt and it will take off. you will be bidding for 1 ear. But if the bid goes to 2500 you will get 2 and if you use GIN I will send you 3

They will grow in WI WITH VERY LITTLE MAINTENANCE, easy to start & they spread fast. Come back year after year with no fall care, they are beautiful!

Not sure what kind of winters you have, but we have down in the 20s but it don't stay there for days and they do fine

I can't say that everyone of them will bloom at the same time but I can say they will bloom when it has babies that get big enough to flower.

Full sun or part shade as long as it get some sun it will be fine,
I have 1 in full sun and 1 in mostly shade and they both grow the same.

When you say it can handle winter.........do you mean a mild one........or the winters like we get in the great lakes area, where it can get to -20, and/or 3 feet of snow on the ground. Will be awaiting your reply. thanks.

LOL Well You got me there, we get maybe 1 to 3 inchs of snow once in a blue moon, and temp down to -5 sometimes, I guess you could grow it in a pot so you can take it in for your winter, I don't know what that much snow would do to it.
