Description
The listing, Shiny Coin Earrings on Sterling Silver Wires Handmade by Stacey has ended.
This is a set of earrings made from 2 Denmark 1967, 25 Ore, made of copper nickel. NOT Silver coins.
These are in excellent condition and I have added a sparkly bead to bring out the shine. You are sure to get noticed in these. Coin collectors will love them as a novelty and a way to tell others they love coins. The wires are brand new sterling silver 925 stamped even. Very classy and fun.

Thanks for checking out my other fun auctions this week.
Oh yeah, I think that's pretty nice. The coins alone are interesting, but I always like a little added bling! I don't know how many coins like this you have, but they would make a really super necklace too! And you are so good with the wirework ...
We have around seven sets worth of naturally holed coins. Went to a coin store off and on and raided their world coin selection for coins with holes in them. Stacey likes those types of coins (square coins as well).
Those coins with holes really do make great jewelry. I have those 280+ foreign coins I started to put on Listia, gave up on them, and am still trying to decide what to do with them. I have a drill press, should drill holes in them and make jewelry (or send them to YOU to make jewelry!).
Eck...don't drill holes in them. If they have holes already made in them by the nations' mints, or if someone already drilled such a hole, those are acceptable. But I'm a coin purist at heart, and could never actually make the holes myself. -- A
The best idea would be to wrap wire around it, such as what Stacey does. You can make wonderful complimentary patterns that way too.
Well, I agree with you in principle, but since most older foreign coins aren't worth much (usually less than $1) I think it's fine to use them for other decorative purposes. Don't worry, I don't have either the coins or the drill press here!
