The listing, Create 5 Silver Plated Necklaces With PamReily DIY Image Under Glass Necklace Kits Including Chains has ended.

To get a better look at the photos, click VIEW LARGER under the thumbnail pictures. :)

This auction is for:

5 silver plated pendant trays, 5 matching clear glass cabochons, and 5 silver plated ball chains, 2.4mm wide and 24" long.

To create these necklaces, you will need to have/purchase/obtain:
good scissors, a small paintbrush, DG3 or 3D Crystal Lacquer, ModPodge and, of course, the paper you wish to put under the glass. I use mostly used postage stamps, and also origami papers and road maps.

You can print photos on your home printer, but you may need to seal them.

This auction includes a total of 15 items, which are:

5 silver plated iron ball chains, length 24 inches, width of ball is 2.4mm
(nice thickness--smaller than this looks kinda cheap to me)

5 silver plated lead free zinc alloy pendant trays:
2 are for 1 inch rounds
2 are for 20mm squares
1 is for a 1 inch square

5 matching size and shape clear glass cabochons, all domed glass as shown in the photos.
2 one inch domed rounds
2 20mm domed squares
1 one inch domed square

No...I guess it seems to obvious to me. :)

The basics of image under glass: make sure the glass is clean (I wipe all the pieces with an old piece of towel, gets off fingerprints and such) then put a small amount of the DG3 on the bottom, turn over and place where you want it on the paper. If there is enough glue, it will spread evenly and squish out the sides a small amount (this helps seal the edges). If there is not enough glue, there will be air bubbles or other disconnected spots...just carefully peel the paper back off (right then) and add another dot of glue. It's a learning curve to get the right amount but once you do it's easy.

Depending on humidity, it could take as little as a few hours for the DG3 to cure/dry, but I always leave them at least 24 hours before trimming away the excess paper. When dry and trimmed, brush a coat or two of mod podge on the back to seal the paper (give it a few hours to get dry before proceeding). If using a pendant tray, you can use a little dab (very little is needed) to glue the cab into the tray. With the pieces that people can see the back of the cab on, like when you make rings and pendants with aanraku bails, I put a layer of decorative paper on the back, so people are not looking at the back of the stamps or whatever...hope that makes sense! :)
