The listing, Yugioh Misprint Single - United We Stand Doubling Error! has ended.

This is a doubling error. The name of this Ultra Rare card was originally stamped in Silver by accident, and then they tried to cover it up with the proper gold. It was misaligned, causing the silver to act as a shadow of the gold print.

Definitely a nifty misprint. And it still falls within tournament guidelines unlike some other misprints. :)

I remember those days. I also remember UDE had different rulings as to whose monsters were counted - the controller of United, or the controller of the Monster.

actually not considered a misprint, but a printing defect. these are a lot more common than misprints and value doesn't increase. misprint is where it has a picture or words that aren't supposed to be on the card. there're also manufacturing defects that are worth a bit more. just sayin.

Printing defects (like this one) and Printing errors (such as the ever-famous "Rainbow Dragon" Elemental Hero Chaos Neos) are both types of "Misprints". The category itself is pretty broad.
