The listing, False Agave, False Aloe, Giant Asparagus, Furcraea Foetida has ended.
These plants grow to 6' H & W. After 7 - 10 years they produce a 20' flower stalk. The yellow flowers are followed by hundreds - thousands of topset plantlets rather than seed pods. Unlike true Agave, they don't die after blooming. As the flowerstalk droops to the ground the baby plants root where they touch. Alternatively, you can remove them to plant, or, sell.
These are great centerpieces for rock gardens. If you live above Zone 8b they will need to be a container plant. They do okay potted, but, require a warm location. Obviously, if it starts to bloom, you'll need to place it outside until it's done.
The plants I currently have on hand are larger than what is pictured. However, I have several size rangessome are up to 18" tall , and, starting to bush out.
