Description

The listing, Antique Occupied Japan Black Lacquer Trinket Box with Gold Roosters & Flower has ended.

Antique Black Lacquer Trinket Box featuring Gold Roosters and Peony Flower Design on Lid- stamped Occupied R E Japan on bottom of Box.
The Box measures just over 4" by 3" by 1.5" (104mm by 77mm by 37mm).
The Lacquer is slightly bubbled and cracked on right side of box, also slightly worn on rim, but, item is still intact and useable.

My Mother-in-Law is an Occupied Japan Antiques Collector- she procured this piece many years ago. She has since shared a portion of her many Collections with us... We have our own Collections, and just don't have room for everything!

This will mail out in a Bubble Wrap Mailer via USPS First Class Mail.
Happy Bidding! :)

According to my Mother-in-Law, R E stands for Royal English.
An independent Antiques Dealer told me that R E, is the Artists Initials.
Happy Bidding! Good Luck!

Very pretty! If you are on a small wi-fi, that may be why you are having trouble loading pictures. I have the same problem . . . my wifi is not very powerful.
