Carrigan Crittenden inherited a spooky, run-down mansion from her deceased father. Initially she was upset with this gift, feeling cheated from the millions that he possessed. That is, until she discovered a treasure map to a secret stash located in the house. When she enters with intentions to locate it, she is scared away by ghosts. Carrigan hires Dr. James Harvey, an after-life therapist, to exorcise the property. Harvey and his daughter, Kat, decide to move into the mansion. Kat immediately meets Casper, a friendly ghost, and the two become friends. Kat and her father become determined to aid Casper and the other ghosts in crossing over to the afterlife.
