The listing, broken ipod touch has ended.

I have an ipod touch that can be used for parts. It was given to me in 2 seperate parts. I put a new battery in hoping that would fix it but it wont close properly. Its a mess, but can be used for parts. Screen is good.

That's an updated first gen, and the second gen models are not able to multi-task with iOS 4...Sadly, I have an MC serial number, So I was right on the cusp of 2nd and 3rd generation...If only I picked my iPod up a day later...LOL!!!

It did. Doesnt right now. though it gets warm when I plug it in. I was told thats a good sign that the battery is getting juice.

I cannot fix it. As of now it does not work. No cables. I need them for my other ipod. Im sure there is a way to fix it. I just dont know how.

Well, for one thing its in two pieces. The front and back are seperated. I thought it was the battery, but now the on switch is not lined up with the inside and I cant push it down. I figured instead of playing with it any more and making it worse, Ill just post it up on Listia for you guys. I dont know what the initial problem was. The guy told me it just stopped working one day. Sounded like a battery issue to me. I did solder in a new battery.
