Description

The listing, LUXURY RAILROAD POCKETWATCH has ended.

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU BID.... This is a Non-Working Wind Up Railroad Pocketwatch...By Luxury...This Came from my 86 year old Aunts Jewelry box so i dont have Much info. on it...I dont see a serial number anywhere on this watch...I do see a ALR China made on the inside cover......I had this Pocketwatch in one of my Auctions and when the Buyer received this he stated when he took the back off a piece fell out..He returned it to me and i refunded all Credits to him......In pictures 9 thru 14 u can see the part that came out of the back when opened...I dont know if the piece is broke, but i do know it comes out, as u can see...I'm not sure how it broke ,it wasnt like that when i had it in my Auction but sometimes things happen, so just thought i would let my Listian Friends know before u bid...Could be a very easy fix, I'm auctioning this Pocketwatch as a Non-working watch for a Collector....Listia address only....Happy Bidding...

the piece that fall out is a major piece for a self winding watch it is a easy fix for a watchsmith
this watch could be anywhere from 30 years to 10 years old but i wouldnt say older than that that is my guess

HI! I saw this watch the last time you had it on here and I love it and still do, but I am still no where close to having the points to bid. I agree with marshaknapp you should have it appraised. I think who ever gets this would be lucky cause it is a nice watch and I would pay to have it fixed if I knew I could win it. Good luck I'll be watching. I wish I had things t auction off, but I don't cause I really need the points for this and other things for my boys. I have 2 boys (my angles).

Thank u so much..There are alot of items i put on here that should get appraised first lol, I just auctioned off a 14k Mens Gold Ring on here and didnt get it appraised, ok i might be crazy lol.. I know theres stuff i have that are worth something but thats ok, Theres stuff here on Listia that i can use my credits for and if this pocket watch is worth something or Nothing, i wish whoever bids Good Luck :)

I'm not an expert but it looks like one of the main pieces to turn the spring or visa versa. It isn't working is it? Take it to a jeweler . Have them reinsert it and you will get woppers of offers. It is very pretty. I would have it appraised if it was in an old jewelry box. Good listia luck to ya!

To me it doesnt even look broke. To me it looks like it just fell out and if its secured back into place then it would be fine, But...I am not a person to ask lol...I know Nothing about this watch...It might just be a really tiny screw that came out...I really have No clue and i dont want to mislead anyone ..You see from the pictures what i see...
