Would someone please tell me what the difference in uncommon, common & rare magic the gathering cards mean ? I would appreciate it. Fanned & watching by the way.

From what I was told, Rares have a golden series mark on cards just under the picture. They are harder to get out of the booster packs, Uncommons have a silver series mark under the picture, They are easier to get then rares but not as common as the commons, and of course the commons have black series marks under the pictures. if you buy a booster pack, the cards are mostly commons.....so they are the easiest to get. the early series do not have marks. so if you have any from the early sets, best bet would be to search them online or find someone who can tell you off hand. I collect sportscards and when these were in a box I bought I asked my neighbor to tell me a little about them........

This looks like a fun lot. I'm going to watch it for a while and probably bid within the last minute. Fanned and watching.

Magic: The Gathering cards are marked underneath the picture with a small image that ties it to a set. This smaller images can have the following colors: black for common, silver for uncommon, gold for rare and bronze for mythic rare.

So these are in played condition and not mint or near mint?

they are all in sleeves, so even if they were played with they still look mint condition....
