Botanical name: Liriope muscari 'Big Blue'

Typically used as a groundcover or front border plant. A reliable plant, with spiky blue/purple blooms. The tidy edge you can make with it creates a nice effect, Try contrasting these with some Moonbeam Coreopsis (yellow flowers) - - striking! In the fall, the Liriopes have small berries (seeds). Grows and flowers well in deep shade. Evergreen in zone 6. Competes well with weeds. You can plant it and forget about it.
