This auction is for 20 papaya seeds. This is a Mexican papaya called "Mexican Yellow". These are heavier and larger than the Hawaiian types, this one was approx. 6 pounds and tasted pretty damn good!
The papaya is a melon like fruit with yellow-orange flesh enclosed in a thin skin that varies in color from green to orange to rose. Papayas are a rich source of vitamin A and C. One half of a small papaya can provide 150% of the recommended dietary intake of Vitamin C. It is low in calories, fat free, cholesterol free, and a good source of potassium, folate, and fiber.

Tropical Storm / Hurricane Isaac is destroying my garden plots as I type this so these may be the last seeds for awhile... Better get them while you can!

Your just a bit south of me and I will be putting in my late summer crop just next month. Come October/November is when you want to do your winter crop. I/ll send you a link that should help you out on planting times.
