Im sorry to not understand what these are and what I need but I have an older Gateway computer(desktop) and my speakers that one plugged into the other and then that one single one plugged into the back on my desktop tower. So, would these work for me? Your part that says "Connection Type Wired" is comfusing to me.

These speakers are also a single strand that split to each speaker and then the wire goes to the electronic device you are using i.e. walkman, computer. The wire is a plug into where the "earplugin" is on your device; this is what also powers the speakers. "Wired" just means that they have to have wires to plug in, rather than wifi or bluetooth wireless connection. As far as working with your Gateway computer, I really have no idea, I've never had one before. However, I have used these on an older HP desktop computer as well as a brand new Sony wireless computer and they work on both. I would, however the speakers are going to be expensive to mail, more than $1.00. I will already be absorbing the marjority of the cost of the mailing, but am doubtful I will get enough credits it. So unforunately, I do need to charge at least $1.00, as I am on a limited budget. I do apologize : )

So, let me recap my stupidity....lol They are split wired but there is plug at the end of one that goes into where my old speakers went ot the headphone I have now and they have one plug already attached to plug in, right? I was thinking you meant that they had totally esposed wires and I would have to go buy the plug and wire the pllug.

No problem, I'll try to explain it better. There is a plug that goes to your computer, which is at the end of the wire. That wire plug you input into your earphone jack on your computer. The wire is fully protected with the normal coating, no need to fix anything. It starts out as one wire, about 5 inches from the plug the wire splits in to (2) two wires, again fully coated and each one of the two wires goes to a speaker. You will have enough wire to put a speaker on each side of a computer or whatever you wish to you the speakers for. Hopefully, I explained that a little better than the last time. Sorry for the confusion. Please feel free to ask any additional quesitons. : )
