This auction is for a pattern to make the ruffle hat pictured.

It makes a great photo prop for photographers!

I will email you a step by step PDF pattern after the auction ends.

This pattern is very comprehensive, it has photos, and links to videos of how to do the different stitches. I tried to make it easy for a beginner.

I do have an Etsy and an eBay shop if you are interested in buying a finished product. I don't list finished products on Listia. This particular hat would be $25 for a finished product.

will it work with the soft thread yarn as well?

I'm not sure what type of thread you mean. This was done with red heart. I would imagine it would be about the same with any thread, as long as it was about the same thickness. Otherwise you could just add or subtract a few stitches on each row.
