The body is puckered and stretchy. Not sure how to measure. Just putting the ruler across the waist area in front, I get 12". .Under the bust is the same as the waist, but like I said, it stretches from there. Don't know how to measure the bust, but let me give you my measurements - bust 32", waist 25",and it fits me very well. I didn't like elastic around sleeves. I am a light smoker and sometimes smoke in the house- rarely. Never in bedroom where I keep my clothing. Hope all this helps.
