It's always amazing how people will try to take advantage of a "Newbie" Most of you should be ashamed of yourselves. (I can see you got your own back, Karen, but I am a little ticked off here) You all know the rules of Listia-you do not bid a certain amount of credits decided by you and the auction owner and win-that is shill bidding. As is paying cash under the table for an open auction. None of us here are perfect, but that is outright wrong!
On that note: Welcome-you look like you've been here a little while. but there is something you said in your "blurb" ;) that hit home. I, too, am Disabled-I am a former Nurse who worked very very hard-and this sudden sitting around doing nothing about did me in! That is why Listia and my other sites are important to me, also. They are my JOBS!! They keep me busy, keep my brain active, and give me a purpose again. Those are all the good things about the auction/seller sites on the Internet today.

free shipping only if bids reach 1,000 credits. kinda has to be worth my while...im on a fixed income so...having free shipping all the time is kinda hard unless in some way i get a lil something out of it :) :)

I would've done a GIN on this one but, I did that on two other auctions, and unfortunately if I kept doing that , at the time it would've depleted my credits too much just by posting a GIN that I wouldn't be able to bid on the auctions I was interested in. Wish I had done this one a GIN first. thats why I put if it hits a 1,000 credits ill do free shipping to whomever wins the auction in the end. :) I try my best to make it a fun and interesting auction for all :) I even try to add a lil something extra for people who win my auctions :) just as a lil special thanks for bidding :) Good luck and happy bidding to all :)

Hi everyone....im new at listia...still learning the in's and out's of posting auctions and bidding myself on what i like. I dont know what to do once someone bids on an item....ive had several offers of people wanting to buy it from me etc. Personally, once someone bids on it and they are the highest bidder...it would be very unfair of me to "sell" it to someone else. If that happened to me in an auction...id be a lil angry if I was the current highest bidder with the definate potential to win the item and the seller "sold" it to someone else right out under me. Just saying :) I want to have and provide a great auction experience for everyone :) Im not here to scam anyone or be a "jerk" in any way :) Im disabled so this place is like my "work" during my day that im able to do:) lol gives me something to do thats fun and interesting. Im on a fixed income due to my illness therefore thats why I try to time my auctions in ways that Ill be able to provide "free shipping". I too like it better when items have free shipping :) hence..fixed income :) lol which is why sometimes i dont lower the number of days. if i do...then it would mean the winner would have to wait until I get paid in order to afford to ship it out :) sorry this is like a news report...lol :) but, I just wanted to exlpain so everyone can have a nice smooth auction experience :) Thank u for all the offers...but, in the best intrest of being able to have a smooth and fair auction....Im just going to let the highest bidder win and as i stated...only if it reaches 1,000 or more cedits will i be able to provide free shipping :) happy bidding to everyone :) and good luck on the winning bid :) thank you all :)
