Haruhi Suzumiya isn't a normal high school student, and she doesn't want to befriend any either. She wants to meet aliens, time travelers, and clairvoyants. So she starts the "SOS Brigade," inviting people to share their stories of the paranormal with her and her friends. Kyon isn't really sure how he got caught up in Haruhi's spell, but he's excited to see where it takes him.
