From Wikipedia "In geological usage druse or druzy is a coating of fine crystals on a rock fracture surface, vein or within a vug or geode" It's hard to get in a photo, but the top surface of the ring has crystals giving it a textured "sparkle". It's something beautiful that happens naturally in nature!
