I don't know anything about this set, but my grandson loves Legos & is 11. Is this a robot monster? He has a birthday in Oct.

Lego Bionicle was a line of sets that were and are still, very popular. If your grandson loves Lego's and he's 11, he probably knows about the Bionicle's. They are kind of life-like machines with their own weapons, skills and story - some are good and others evil.

There's an entire story behind the Bionicle and many characters. Boys his age love these and I think he would appreciate it. It is a small set - 38 pieces which he'll probably build in 10 minutes. He may already have some Bionicle but probably not this one because it wasn't sold in stores - it only came through the Lego website if you were a BrickMaster.

It's a pretty good bet that your 11 year old grandson will love this for his birthday!

I don't think the Rahi they are either. I know they are a line of creatures that were know to act mainly on instinct. They are kind of like animals, with a low level of intelligence in the Bionicle universe. Thay aren't the good or bad guys... just a race of creatures that are talked about in the Bionicle story. There is an entire story line about Bionicle and a lot of characters. I know the Lego Bionicle sets are hot and fun to build but I don't know the entire story of the Bionicle.
