ULTRA RARE 4/102 Holo CHARIZARD Base Set Pokemon Card GAMEFREAK c 1999 Wizards Hologram ~ *(I am being extremely conservative of $250 price for this card on eBay. They usually sell for $350 - $400 +++) This card is in Good Condition; it shows some edge wear. (see photos) It is an Ultra Rare Charizard Pokemon card from the base set. They made very few of this type of Total Hologrammed background from Wizards. It is authentic and original and came out of a 1999 pack. This card was highly prized by my boys.

not to be rude or say this is fake but does anyone know if this is real? ive never seen a holo like this and not sure that it is real and cant find any info online about it

To anyone questioning the card: I just looked it up and this card is definitely 100% real. The only version that would have any more value is this version in 1st edition. Good luck :)

To all morons who think this is fake grow up its real she saw it come out of a pack and she has perfect feedback why would she lie about it and its on ebay rarest charizard out there is 1996 holo thats his rookie card 1st edition thats the best usa 1 the japan ones are rarest my sons is 12 and a fan im 38 and a huge trading card collector baseball,football,star trek but my son loves pokemon so i check ebay when he pulls cards to see what its worth u idiots who think or no its fake are fake

I own plenty of charizard cards from this set (base) and It is not a $250+ card lol and this card doesn't seem legit you may not be aware but this card in fact is a fake just do some research and compare your card to others online then you'll see. There a bunch of fakes for every real one so even though you may think its real it isn't.

Me too. If you don't want this card please don't bid. I've heard others tell me that my cards were fakes and then at the last minute bid on them to add to their collections cheaply. alright, after reading all the comments and carefully looking at the card, it is in fact a fake. just because it came out of a pack, doesn't mean it's legit. i get fake cards all the time out of all sorts of booster packs. the flames from the Charizard's mouth are missing, and though the holo pattern behind it is pretty and neat, it is not the standard bubble holo pattern that all real pokemon holo cards have, except for the reverse holos, which have a solid shine around the border only. and the back of this card here is either faded greatly, or it's a fake because people have no clue how to make exact replicas. though it would be a neat card to have in someone's collection, it will not be mine. i bid on real cards, not cheap knock-offs.

Could you add another picture of the card at a different angle? I just want to see the holographic pattern different, because the charizards in this set normally look different. And I'm not calling fake, but i just want to make sure this is real. Don't want you to get banned

I agree that the charizards holos in the set normally look different. I have another one that has a different pattern in the background labelled 4/102 and is from the base set also. They did do an Ultra Rare grouping of Holograms by Wizards in 1999 that was a Hologram that covered the entire card surface. My boys opened this one out of a pack ~ I remember how excited they got when they finally got this one! It shows some wear on the edges from little boys handling it. That's why I labelled it "good" condition. (see photos) I would be happy to take more pictures and list them in the morning. If you are not comfortable with this in your collection or doubt that it is authentic or original ~ please DON'T bid. I want bidders to be happy with this listia auction. I'm not interested in getting banned from listia and would never intentionally list a fake card here. No buyers remorse please.
