I'm waiting on the Pastor over our church to give me the go ahead to start a choir at our church. It's just a little Assembly of GOD church in my community but, there is some powerful messages there by the LORD through the pastor and his wife.

Then you would LOVE this hymnal. :) Do you know any of the "old" choruses? I have a BEAUTIFUL chorus hymnal I'm getting to list soon, you should really get it.

A tip: when you have a choir, it's good to have a "praise team" or a "worship team". 3 or 4 individuals who like to sing the songs and scripture songs, sometimes called choruses, that are straight from the bible. THESE are the "songs", the scripture songs, that had a great influence on my christian growth.

People don't realize that singing the scripture songs, REALLY gets the Word of God right down inside your spirit. It's a great way to "memorize" large portions of scripture that you will will never forget! Like:

Create in me a clean heart, Ooooo God and renew a right spirit within me.
Take me not away from thy prescence
and take not thy holy spirit from me
Restore unto me, the joy of they salvation
and renew a right spirit within me.

This is a prayer of King David when he realized the sin in his right and realized that he could be forever separated from God, and he repented. In Psalms. 51:10

So, I could list it right away, sometime, today, but the GIN will be 5555, it is like new and I guess the "young worship leader" we have would rather use his own, he is not "seasoned" like we are, and do not recognize the "value" of these, but a little at a time, I think he is......sally

fanned, watching and bidding. i love the older hymns books. i got lucky and found a couple real old ones on here from 1918 and 1923. i was so shocked and they are in awesome shape also. Great Auction. Thank you for listing this.

oh i am not a christian but i do believe in god. i like these books for the old songs i use to sing when i went to church some 30 yrs ago. i wanted to get this one for my brother. Thanks for the compliment. i don't like pics of myself. scares me and others. hahaha!

Don't you know??? That the reason you like the songs, that you USED TO sing some 30 years ago, is because it is the way that Jesus is using to knock on your heart?? He is asking you to let him come in...into your heart. He wants a relationship with you. My relationship with Jesus is VERY personal, very REAL, and he wants to have that with you. I talk to him all day, he is very real, very personal, and very RIGHT THERE with me. He can be that way with you, just ask him today, to come live in your heart. Its not enough to believe, you have to accept Him into your heart, to ask him to be your Saviour. Even the devil believes in God, but he doesn't live FOR God, he lives for his self.
