The listing, Vintage Antique Pill Box 1940's? has ended.

This is a beautiful little piece of history. I am assuming it is from the 1940's or so.

I am not sure of the KIND of metal or the gems. Not sure if they are real or not.

The box itself is gold in color. There is a flower design on the front with different colored stones. The box also has a thin layer of mother of pearl. And what looks like little pearls around the edge of the flower, with only 1 spot open. There are 7 gems stones and 5 'pearl" stones.

It opens like a little book and snaps shut. It has a little chain on it. The back of the "book/box" has a leather or reptile patterned look.

It is about 1 inch in height. The last picture shows the size next to a dime for comparison.

gosh the meds back then must of been pretty small. lmao Absolutely love it! i love old antique items. Great Auction. i would of lost my meds if i had to put it in this. lol
