this is a lovely lil' "bird box." it could be used as a pill container for your purse or to hold lil' treasures on your dresser. it is solid brass and the birds are a silver metal. it measures 1 3/4" long and 1 1/4" wide. i just noticed that it was hinged but now it just opens. it looks old ... i know i've had it for about 15 years but i dont know the story before i owned it. if you should have any questions, please feel free to ask!
