yes there is a hard black case on it that snaps on the front and seperate on the back. i can lessen the days

no problems at all. the reason why i'm getting rid of it is because i have 2 identical phones :). it is a great phone but i don't need 2. i mainly use mine to listen to music. it is a great phone!

you can turn it into a prepaid phone through Verizon but i had a plan with it.
