2 unused T-mobile SIM cards, and an instruction booklet that tells you how to activate the SIM cards with your phone.

One of the SIM cards did get taken out of the card that it came in, but it was NOT used.

I don't believe so. If you have a t-mobile account these are easy ways to add a new phone number. Both cards came with pay by the month phones, so you'd just have to have a phone that accepts the sim card :)
