@ChandaMija: vanity sizing did not come into affect until the 70s. At that time the pattern companies started putting photos on the envelopes. Vintage patterns were sketches. In the future you will be able to tell by looking at the envelope. If in doubt you can look at the measurements but whenever you see photos it is deffinitely a recent pattern. You can do closeups and look at the srp as well, over $2.00 and it is new!
