Product Information
Agetec Inc and From Software continue their popular ARMORED CORE mech simulation game with ARMORED CORE: LAST RAVEN for the PS2. This entry in the series features unlimited customization options, new content, and online play. The storyline of Last Raven, of course, revolved around giant robots fighting each other. The world has nearly been destroyed thanks to a series of unmanned weapons that went crazy. Now, earth is ruled by the Alliance, a group of large corporations who only want to increase their own wealth. To combat them, a rebel group called Vertex builds their own mechanical suits to battle the Alliance forces. At the start of Last Raven, the two sides are set for the final showdown. Players begin the game with a basic AC, or Armored Core, mech suit and a few customization options. They then have the option of taking on one of several different missions, each of which offers a cash reward for successfully completing them. This cash can be used to buy more parts, of which there are hundreds. Each has its own powers and drawbacks, and players have to carefully balance their AC to make sure it doesn?t overheat. Once the mech is finished, it?s off to battle. Gamers who love the ARMORED CORE series will find ARMORED CORE: LAST RAVEN includes the great customization options and fast-paced action of the previous games. Newcomers may find customizing a bit overwhelming at first, but a few hours of gameplay will quickly get them hooked.
