There is no number on the case bottom.It is either to worn to see or it does not have one.I know they didnt really number them til the 50s.Not sure if it was just the case.I have researched this one a while back.I was a ble to locate one that sold for 50 bucks.Hope that helps.Ty

Can you get a photo of the bottom of the Zippo and both sides of the insert? That will answer all my questions.
