Questions & Comments
I remember this pattern. This is great! Brings back memories! Wonderful auction. Watching.
i hope someone will get it and make it work for their little ones. I had so many of mama's and grams stuff like this I decided to pick one favorite from each and let the rest of the younger set have them.. family first then my listia fan's..
My daughter like to buy materials and make differetn things for her dolls. She made the cutest purse/hobo bag the other day. She seen this and said, ohhh look at those dresses!! So lets say Im watching it for my little designer now! :) Love this!
i did not look at all the pcs. but my gramma was metaculas at putting them all back in.. will try to check it today. I did pull it out and everything is very neatly folded back in like she did everything. No one has had the patter n but me since her death in the 90's and i never used it just left it in her box of patterns till i started sharing them with my listia friends. Will double check to day tho since am off job.
So wonderful!! I'm on my 3rd generation of little girls I make Barbie clothes for& enjoy it as much now as I did when I started! I have several patterns from quite a few decades and would be more than happy to swap copies. I feel like it is our duty to properly usher in the next generation of budding seamstresses and fashionistas and with what they now cost new it is very costly to get together any amount of choices.Besides-how else are the girls ever going to know what a Sheath Shirtwaist or Prarie skirt is? Just contact me.
I don't sew much anymore is why I decided grammas and mamas patterns needed to go to homes of those who do and would appreciate the vintage quality. I crochet doll things for my grands of which i now have three young girls coming up in the North, I live in Tex so we don't see much of each other... but yes I totally understand. Keep a watch as I look for vintage to pass on at sales also.. and have found some really cool things I've put here on listia and in my ebay and etcy stores
I have looked at the pattern, and she simple clipped it ( did not trim out so has actually NOT been used ) and pinned the pcs together and put in their proper instruction page. The appear to be all here. :?) Lizz
