I bought 4 of them in a package deal but with no boxes when i got them they was only in bubble wrap.
yes brand new - preset - no box - pretty cool at night when you can not see, press the button and it will say the time for you !

Yes, you can set the alarm if you want or it will auto voice every hour and tell you the time.
