The listing, Art Deco 1920's 18 K Ring size 5 &1/4 has ended.

Please read description carefully before deciding to bid. No rude or derogatory comments please. Hoping to find this old ring a loving home.

Marked 18 K on inside band. Tried to get photo of it but it simply doesn't come through in the photos. Three star marks on other side of band.

This ring is in very poor condition. On back of mounting it has a rough tiny tear where someone tried to remove it from the finger witout going to a jewelry person.

Also two side mount diamonds are missing.

Am trying to take photos that show all the faults mentioned.

Ring was neatly cut on the back side of band to remove it.

Perhaps someone with the skill & desire would make this ring back into the beauty it once was.

Fleur Di Lis markings on front and back on mounting.

This was my Grandmother's ring and it has been handed down to me and it's doing nothing in my jewelry box. I once thought I woulld fix it but that's all it was, a thought.

Has one small diamond remaining in center of mount.

This ring was most likely your grandmothers engagement ring . My mom had one very much like this one. My father gave it to her many years ago. It when to her grave with her as she was married to my father until death .you mite want too hold on to it for your children one day. just saying it could be a beautiful ring again with a little TLC plus it's 18k

Thanks for your comment maybelle01. I have a lot of my Grandmothers items and it would be nice to hold onto it but I know I will never have it repaired. My Grandmother outlived all three of her husbands. Hard work, farming and logging accidents. I miss her so much still. She passed away in the 60's.

Wow...even for the condition its in that's still a beautiful ring! I love these kinds of rings from that time period, they are absolutely stunning but without being so big and gaudy. Very nice....wish I had more credits to bid but most mine are tied up and I won't get more for almost I week probably :( but I'm still keeping the hope alive and watching lol

It is a beautifully formed mounting and the band has a very nice design. I hear you on the credits too. I would love to have enough credits for presents for my Mom for the Holidays. There are so many items on Listia that I absolutely want and need..lol.

Hi purplesmurple! Oh I bet your antique Ruby ring is so stunning! I believe the craftmansip of the older antique rings is so much better than what is made today. Just my opinion but it seems like the skill and craftmanship part is truly over with. It would be wonderful if you could combine the two to make one!

My grandmother passed her engagement ring down to my mother years ago when I was a teenager. It is funny because it looked so similar to this one and was also cutoff the finger :) I intended on fixing the ring for my mother for a surprise, but the ring was lost down the drain and never found :( So...this beautiful ring would have lots of meaning when I fix it and surprise my mom 20 years later with a ring that looks so close to my grandma.
