I would not trust this seller with selling only 17 items and getting a 94% rating.Looks like a kid playing games.Listia should do something about this.

In fact...... the way that you made your title of your auction with..... half "doller" mint..... is a great way to describe that coin !..... i like that !..... and what about the people who describe the us sacajawea $ 1 coin as a us "gold" dollar ??? !!! ???..... hmmm ???..... those sellers get the same kind of remarks !..... "hey seller ! it ain't gold !!!"..... laugh again !....

Hey michael..... i "fanned" you and will "watch" for good luck from bidders for your shiny us half dollar !..... keep up your spirits and kepp on auctioning here in our fun site of "listia.com"..... my schools didn't spend a lot of time teaching us about mint coinage either..... if i couldn't see some kind ofcopper color on the edge of that coin..... i'd think that it was "solid silver" too !.... we don't expect our us coins to be "phony".... right ???.... laugh ! and have a great week....

I don't think that the young fellow meant to mislead us about his half dollar.... good grief !.... on august 3rd he auctioned a 1958 boy scouts award received at a bsa jamboree.... he is most-likely too yound to have attended that bsa event.... possibly, his dad or a family member did get to that great bsa event.... oh well.... many did give him the correct info about his 1965 us half dollar and it was done kinda politely, but.... let's all cut him some slack..... it could have been your young son to..... be so excited about his shiny us half dollar, too.... i remeber when i was about 9 years old and began to collect stamps.... my folks sent a check for $ 12.50 to h. e. harris & company to buy a box of about 1,250 used stamps..... wow ! when that box arrived.... i spread them out on the floor in front of our black & white tv..... the paper back catalog described a us 24 cent air mail stamp that had a collectors' value of about $ 24,000 !..... having 1,250 stamps..... i searched for that 24 cent us air mail stamp for days !!!.... laugh ! and all have a great week....

The U.S. mint has never minted a 100% silver coin for circulation. what you have is a 40% silver half, in 1964 the first year for the Kennedy half it was 90% silver then in 1965 through 1970 they were minted in 40% silver.
