This wireless router works really good no issues no software just plug into your modem and it will pick up right away but depending on how fast your modem is will determine the speed and bars on the router.i never had any issues and thank you for looking at my auction alot more to come!!!!

will this pick up wifi i dont get the letters d link and g i dont know what all of it means?
i live in a town that has free wifi and i just wont to get something better then what i have i have a wifi booster its not too good

Well what you need is a wireless usb stick that will draw the wi fi to your device but if the wi-fi is secured Its going to be impossiblee to get any Wi-Fi at all.You need a wireless USB Stick there cheap and it will pull in the wifi but iy has to be capable to the one thats running so if theres a security code your gonna need that code to make your wi fi work.

The model is Cisco Linksys and you could hook 4 ethernets to the back and It's a wi-fi router that you hook up to your Modem and it makes the signal stronger so if you have a huge space were your modem cant reach you hook this router up and then you'll be good to go.

It's on the bottom of the router.theres 3 codes on the bottom.when i hooked it up to my modem it worked just fine i never used any codes.if you don't have a modem it's not going to work.if you have a modem just plug one to the internet then you have 4 seperate spots for devices you want wi-fi for.my modems running 100mbps but i moved to a smaller place i dont need it anymore.
