I can't remember when I bought this, I think in the 70's or early 80's. It was that time when so many pieces of jewelry came with a real tiny diamond chip to enhance you to buy. It is a shiny 2.25" wide light metal charm and has a slider that you can slide to your sign on the outside edge and a very tiny diamond chip set in the middle of the USA. The chain it came with was dull and didn't look good so I added a brand new shining 24" gold plate one. Can change for a shorter one.
