This isn't the original. This is a 4-switch model...a 3rd generation. The 1st and second generations are a 6 switch model, a little heavier in weight, known as "the heavy sixer." Those are worth $150+ for a 1st gen and $100+ for a 2nd gen. The 4 switch 3rd generation is common and worth about $20+

yea.....I had the original one when I was a kid and it had kinda of a wood grain surface to it near the switches and where you put the game into it. I sure wish I would have kept it.

Yea I actually have two of the 2600 systems. And one sears video arcade which also plays atari games

@jeffhalliday, same here, think i gave mine to a friend who was less fortunate. Regaurdless still a nice system you got seige, i dont have anywhere near the creds to bid gl all :-)

Yes but not the adapter you need for the tv. I only have one tv adapter and I need it for my Atari lol
