Rosa multiflora - Multiflora Rose.

I first encountered these in Indiana years ago. I couldn't figure out the source of an intoxicating rose fragrance until I noticed the small white flowers. There were also some growing on campus.

I was thrilled to find them again in the backyard of my house in NC! I cut them back at the end of the summer and shape them during the summer. To me the fragrance makes having them worthwhile. The shrubs I have are volunteers!

The small plant in the second photo is similar to the actual plant you will receive. The first photo is of my blooms this spring. Yum!

Caution - This is considered invasive in some areas!
