This is the smallest sterling silver antique poison ring i have ever seen & the stone really looks black,but in all the pictures it show up blue with flash.the hing & clasp are sturdy & has a huge storage space for such a small ring,could put perfume or even meds in hidded compartment.,hopefully not poison !! please check out the rest of my listings.,& thank you.

Love it! Unfortunatly, I don't enough credits (and really shouldn't be buying any more), but I wear a size 5 and would bid in a heartbeat if I could. Very cool. (I'd put a few kiddo mementos in it..tiny snip from a baby blanket or something...and kinda have it like a locket, just on my finger).

Thats a cute idea,i guess ladies in 1800s & early 1900s use to put cotton sooked with perfume in them & when they smelled something bad they'd open their ring & smell perfume., so the story goes lol.

lovely piece, they used these rings for poison many years ago, perfume, and then in the 60's i believe the wrong kind of meds lol. love your other auctions as well.
