Thank you, fanned back. When you put them into the soil keep it 'gently' moist and keep it in a sunny but not really hot place. (a semi shady spot with morning light will work well) As soon as you see little plants starting, cut back a bit on the water, and sort of neglect it.
I think it's zone 9. It freezes here. I cover them w newspaper at night. My husband recently made me a glorified potting shed w shelves - and I am going to try them in that this winter and see how that works.
