Runs on a lithium battery- NOT INCLUDED. I bought this at a scratch and dent sale with the battery missing and no cords. Shortly after, I received a better camera as a gift and this one was tucked away. I never bothered to get a battery for it. There is no reason why it shouldn't work, but I've NEVER turned it on, because I've never had a battery for it. You take that risk bidding on it. Still had box and stickers on it when I bought it.

The body has a few very faint scratches from sitting in storage for about 1.5 years.

Do you know what Battery it takes and is it available in wal mart or other stores. It's a nice camera just have to wait and see what I'm going to do

I'm not really sure. It's one of the flat long lithium batteries. (Like a cell phone battery.) You would have to take the camera somewhere where they sell batteries to find out for sure. The one pic is of the battery casing open, so you can get an idea. Like I said, I got another camera as a gift right after I bought this one, and never looked into getting it.

Maybe. I bought it for $50, and it's $7 to ship. I thought ~$30 was fair including the shipping.
