You might want to put it in a bubble envelope with delivery confirmation. This guards you as the seller and protects the buyer.
The other option is sending the code/pin thru Listia's auction page. (saves postage)
Would you consider just sending the code/pin?

I thought a person would be able to do delivery confirmation on a letter envelope. And i would love to just send the code and pin, but would a person be able to use the giftcard in the store? Also, some people would just prefer to have the actual card in their hands. I'll consider whatever the winner wants.

No, the envelope has to be considered first class mail pkge. to qualify for delivery confirmation.
Usually when the code is sent online, the person just puts it into their online a/c and shops online.
