The listing, dell inspiron 4100 laptop has ended.

laptop works great! looks brand new, has a good working video/audio card, completely redid the wireless card and it gets excellent signal now, the backspace button has come off but all the buttons on the laptop work. i am using it right now to post as we speak :)

this laptop is NOT 6 years old it is near 11 years old.. it doesnt have a cam or mic because its wayy too old.. came out early 2002.

i beg u all to not listen to this guy as he is trying to trick you out of credits.. there is no 300 dollars worth of anything here.. i too am what he calls (CST) and since the outcome of this auction has no bearing on my life i have no reason to lie... if this were my laptop, i would just as soon give it away to someone who needed as its not even worth the hassle of finding someone to buy it

and those of u hating on W7.. W7 is so far the best maintained OS microsoft has ever created. if u are having issues running W7 it is because u go to technicians like this guy who tell u there is good hardware in your machine but really its is just over the bare minimum for W7... if u run dual core CPU at least 2.2 GHz per core and minimum of 2 GB of DDR2 RAM then u will experience no problems with the OS itself.. i got my 1st computer with windows 95 and ive used every microsoft OS since.. none can hold a candle to W7.. winXP is still decent if ur machine cant handle W7 or u cant afford the upgrade, but W7 still takes the cake..

Let's stop arguing over personal preference issues. No matter what is offered here, people bid for their own reasons. Speaking for myself, I resell the laptops at the flea market to: people who can't afford new ones, those who are novices and want to learn, parents of very young children who are learning, etc. I repair files, load MS Office, then price the laptops according to age, ability, performance and other factors.

Age of a laptop is important but not as important as its usage history. The seller may not be familiar with that if they received the laptop secondhand. It would be helpful if the seller let us know the number of previous owners (if known).

I do my research before bidding and accept what the seller has to offer. Deception is worthless if all potential bidders do their homework.

How about if you hate it or if it turns out to be garbage or not what it was said to be then you cancel your money order and ask for a refund and the post office and Listia are on your side no harm no foul whats the big deal You can't trust many bt you can't go though life not trusting any !! :( On this sort of site taking chances is 99.9% of the game.

furthermore this laptop has a SINGLE core 1 ghz pentium III cpu for super slow application processing and im hoping that ur mistaken on teh amount of ram as 320mb is barely over 1/4 gig of RAM...

i have no doubt this laptop was once top of the line, but today.. this is just gonna ***** off whoever uses it, dont believe me? bid, win get back at me in a week xD

lol its only 6 years old and is still a great computer.It has been fully upgraded with up to date software and has new wireless card and video card for better video quality it is an awesome computer I love it im just looking to get another computer for college if it wasnt for that i wouldnt be getting rid of it on here.Actually think its better than windows 7 and vista they all have so many bugs and fixes that need to be done while windows ME professional dosent:)
