Jewel of Opar is an amazingly beautiful plant! I grow and keep mine indoors (using large grow lights) and ever since it reached about 8 months old, it blooms every single night! I've enjoyed the flowers all winter and have saved lots of seeds to share. It's easy to grow, but unless you have an indoor plant lighting system it might be difficult to grow indoors - it prefers full sun. Water about twice a week, and feed an organic all-purpose fertilizer once a month or the leaves will start dropping (found out the hard way!)
The leaves and flowers are edible and medicinal - you can search online for lots of info on its uses and more about how to care for it :)
