Thank you sometimes we have to give our hair a rest with all the chemicals and processing...at least with a wig you can care for your hair yet cover it with something nice...the key is wrapping hair and using a stocking cap ...sorry to hear that you have been ill hope for complete recovery for you :0)

Yes the wig will stay on there are adjustable straps to loosen or tighten as needed...and as for the texture its like having a curly perm so I would say yes it would be fine
