The listing, Star of Bethlehem Bulbs - 2+ has ended.
These are growing wild in my yard. They resemble onions, or, young garlic bulbs. They are a beautiful 6 petal ray flower.
These Spring flowers form 6 petaled upward facing candelabras which bloom for close to a month. Each flower is 1" in diameter.
Depending on the age of the bulb there will be anywhere from 6 - 10 flowers per plant.
Mature bulbs have a silvery center stripe on the 8"-12" long narrow leaves. There are conflicting reports of both toxicity, and, edibility, both historic, and, modern. Caution is warranted in their use.
The bulbs will be fresh dug from my backyard the day they're shipped. Depending on the season, they may be live plants, or, dormant bulbs.
Every 1000 point increase gets an additional 2 bulbs.
If GIN is used, I will send. 8 mature bulbs, or, 15+ Juveniles. Depending on the season, you may receive plants with live roots, and, active growth. They actually send up leaves in October, and, stay green through a Zone 6-7 winter, then bloom mid-May - mid-June.
I follow all Listia guidelines. Please be sure that your address has been verified before bidding.
