Are you aware the mints are hybrids and may not have seeds or the seeds may not come true? Are you also aware that stevia can be slow to start and may not be as sweet as momma?

Ty for your comment :). The stevia is purchased seed I just picked up recently - so it will be true. I have grown the mints from seed myself - gifted from a friend and mine have come true - but thank you for the information - I will look into it further.

No prob! And mint like basil will actually root in standing water as crazy as it sounds and that's the method I'm using

Well if there's no commertial value? Someone shipped me (in states) some rooted plants from the uk by the time they got here they were dead byond dead and turns out they were *very* poorly packed for a weeklong transit but if clever it is still possible

With this being fresh seed - it would be no different than planting seed you purchased at a store in the spring. As long as they are stored properly - you would have no problem starting the springtime seeds. :)
