Description

The listing, Sedum album "Chubby Fingers" cutting has ended.

This is the large leaved selection of this plant--each leaf grows to 1/2" or longer. This auction is for at least one 6 inch cutting of succulent shown in the photos. When you receive your cutting, remove the fat leaves from the lower half, insert the stem into regular potting soil, and place the leaves on the surface of the soil. Keep barely moist until the plants begin to grow vigorously. In a few months your pot will be lush, and in a few more months you will be ready to start taking cuttings! (Growth does slow down over the winter.)

This plant looks great in its own pot, when mixed in containers with other succulents, or as a ground cover in a frost free area. (However they did survive on my unheated and uninsulated sun porch down to 10F.)

Shipping is by US Mail, flat rate priority--the small box and includes tracking. If you use Pay Pal as if you are making a purchase the fee is $6.60. If you send a US Postal Money order or use PayPal Personal the shipping fee is $6.10. I generally pack orders for which I have addresses and shipping paid by the evening before, on Sundays and Tuesdays and ship on Mondays and Wednesdays. This prevents your plants from being stuck in a hot truck over the weekend.

I do want the shipping fee to be worth your while. If you win more than one of my auctions I can ship all of your plants all in the same package--as long as they will fit.

In addition, each time the bidding goes up 100 points, I will add another cutting or division from this plant or a different succulent until the box is full. I currently have Bulbine frutescens--mine has yellow flowers, a grey and a green sedum that I don't know the names of, and a mini flowering ice plant.

If you don't win this auction and would like me to relist, either here or on eBay be sure to let me know. If you would like GIN let me know before there are any bids.

All my plants are grown in certified organic potting soil with no chemicals of any kinds.

Thanks for your comment! I use them a lot in mixed container plantings, they are fun! I have even planted one outside--we shall see how it does out there over the winter . . .
