This is the Amazon description:

Self-harm is often misunderstood and for that reason, many who self-harm keep it hidden, making the problem worse. Without support and feeling understood by others, the problem can get worse. Why do I feel this way? It is because I have been self-harming for more than half of my life and for most of the time, I kept it a secret. Despite others knowing about it, I still feel ashamed and misunderstood. I wish that there were books and poetry out there that spoke about how I felt. There aren't many though so I am taking a chance in getting my own poetry together in this book. Hopefully, it will help others feel less alone and help those who wish to learn more about what self-injuriers go through.

Please keep in mind that some of the poetry in here may be triggering for some and please use caution when reading the poetry.

BONUS!!!! In this first volume, I have included a short article I wrote explaining more about self-injury and why I do it, as well as why others may choose the same route I have. Again, hopefully, it will help both self-harmers and non-harmers understand self-injury better. Perhaps those who are seeking to help self-harmers can learn what we go through and get some sterotypes out of their minds.
