This is a solid piece of Varigated Green Jasper that has been carved and polished. Due to the polished surface and the color variations of the stone itself, the details on his closed eyes, robes, etc. are not easily seen in the picture.

I found similar mineral/gemstone Buddha figurines smaller than these for auction listed at $25-30.
